I heart Uruguay

Five days in and completely, utterly, head-over-heels in love. It’s taken me a few days to gather my bearings but I wanted to say hello from heaven on earth. Words can’t describe my fondness for my newfound happy place. The people are delightful, warm and inviting. The food, outstanding. The beaches and countrysides are memorizing. It’s me & Jimmy’s perfect balance: where the ranches and rolling hills meet the beaches. We already met new friends, ate the best lamb of my life under stars and candlelight, drank clerico in the sand (while the sun refuses to brown my glowing white body in a beach of brown babes!), joined a beach party with Argentines, feasted on squid and local fish, & took a boat to a lunch where we were treated like royalty (no joke. more details to come on this experience), just to name some highlights. It’s a beautiful country inside and out.

I’m working on some blogs involving mainly food & fashion (duh!) from our adventures, but wanted to say a quick hola & sorry for the carrottalk neglect!
