Happy belated Easter! We spent the holiday at home with the family and per usual, cooked and ate our way through the weekend. We made quite a feast saturday night… it was so delicious we thought we should share some of the recipes! Everything was pretty easy to prepare and came out super tasty. We began on a perfect note with a cheese platter (compliments of Cowgirl Creamery) and some lovely Rose wine… Bakersfield provided us with a perfect Spring evening to top it all off. Gather some people soon and have a feast like ours with good friends, family and wine… all you need.
Lamb Chops with Pistachio Tapenade from Smitten Kitchen – Ohh, so delicious, the tapenade was to-die-for.
Pork Tenderloin with honey mustard glaze – We winged it on this one, but got some great ideas from Tastspotting. It was simple, and a great compliment to the bold flavors of the lamb.
Absurdly Addictive Asparagus from food52 – and let me tell you it was! Super easy & totally tasty.
Firecracker Cornbread from 101cookbooks
Potatoes with Rosemary, Salt & Pepper – didn’t use a recipe here, kept it pretty basic… We used butter potatoes from the farmers market which were so incredible they didn’t need much.
Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble from 101cookbooks – This was a hit! We served it with a brown butter ice cream….. mmmmm, perfection!
