A little celebration

October 27, 2011 § 1 Comment

Last weekend was my 30th birthday!!! It’s been a big year for us, so wanted to keep it simple.  Where better to celebrate with family and a few close friends… than the private dining room at Quince!  Chef Michael treated us to a five course menu that was perfectly executed and delicious.  Have a look at this menu!

MAINE LOBSTER

CHILLED SALAD WITH CAVIAR

° ° °

DOVER SOLE

SUNCHOKE, BRUSSELS SPROUT AND BLACK TRUFFLE JUS

° ° °

FAGOTELLI

“CARBONARA” WITH BLACK PEPPER AND GUANCIALE

° ° °

VENISON

RED CABBAGE, ROASTED ROOT VEGETABLES AND SPICED GRAPE

° ° °

CHOCOLATE CREME

QUINCE MEMBRILLO, SPICED BREAD AND CARAMEL ICE CREAM

Makes me want the same meal all over again….

Nothing beats a great meal, great company and some good conversation!  Oh and some great jewels.  Check out my birthday present from friend and designer Geoffrey Young.

30 stones for my 30th year.  I’m one lucky birthday girl!
