A special parcel arrived from Paris today… inside was a fresh array of Cire Trudon candles. This fragrant batch includes some familiar favorites and two new candles.
YAZBUKEY is the latest limited edition wax creation. It’s the product of a collaboration with Cire Trudon and Yaz Bukey, a French-Turkish jewelry designer who is known for her unconventional style and work. The notes include violets, leather, saffron, and according to the designer lipstick and hairspray! Sounds crazy, but take a whiff, it’s good.
BETHLEHEM is a fresh spin on Cire Trudon’s Melchoir holiday themed candle. This luxurious scent blends warm notes of amber and sandalwood with musk, tonka beans and white flowers in a festive silver jar meant to evoke the silvery stars in the sky. The holidays will be here before you know it. Try getting into the spirit of things with the right aroma.
☝ Shakespeare might have said “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,” but a Cire Trudon candle is the bees knees and you can count on that name.

Love these pictures of designer, Christina Hutson and her adorable kids at home! We first met the ever cool couple Christina and her husband Swaim in NYC when they were designing the hip mens brand Obedient Sons. We were instantly struck by their sharp sense of style and warm demeanor.

Eva and Gentry Dayton. The cool, edgy couple behind the Brooklyn store Eva Gentry that houses a minimalistic vibe of designers from around the world. We always try and fit in a visit during our trips to NYC. A few shots below from their home… which I find completely inspiring: a gallery-like, rocker feel, yet completely livable and inviting.

“So I dressed with remaining ceramics, furniture and objects; so I placed a message in each, a small story, at times ironic and obviously wordless, but audible to those who believe in poetry.” -Piero Fornasetti
“The first collection of Fornasetti Profumi per La Casa, celebrates the Fornasetti ceramic heritage in combination with both well-known and less familiar decorative images. Together they make up a desirable group of iconic objects and decorative pieces that are at once collectable and covetous.” via Fornasetti.com
We couldn’t be more excited to be stocking these little gems!
