Farm Wedding Beauty

January 9, 2014 § 2 Comments

Dear friend and longtime client, Maggie, was married last summer in Tennessee. The wedding was right-out-of-a-movie beautiful and Maggie was nice enough to share her wedding pictures with us. We are also especially proud of how well everything turned out because we helped order and select the bridesmaid dresses (don’t mind if we give ourselves a little pat on the back).

For all of us with friends and family getting married this coming summer, these pictures make for great inspiration!

The setting: a Tennessee farmhouse.

How gorgeous are the bridesmaids’ pale pink Peter Cohen dresses!

The young and the beautiful.

Bella figura

Awesome dress on the M.O.B.

Looking good Mr. & Mrs.

We dig the refined rustic.

Friends and clients of Carrots, Sam & Kendall created Sequin Harvest.  Adorably stylish and incredibly hip, Sam & Kendall chronicle their adventures in the Napa Valley and their mutual love for “all things shiny.”  The girls were kind enough to feature Carrots on their blog!  Big thanks to you both, come visit all the time! Here are some of the great photos snapped while  we played “dress up” at the store.  For the full feature, click here.

Best Chef: Michael Tusk

May 11, 2011 § 1 Comment

Congratulations to our neighbor and friend, Michael Tusk of Qunice & Cotogna Restaurants, the winner of the 2011 James Beard Award for Best Chef! We are thrilled for Michael, he has truly exceeded expectations with his Italian cooking skills. If you haven’t yet been to both Qunice and Cotogna, let me tell you… it will become a regular for locals and those of you visiting, trust us you will not be disappointed… its a treat. Cotogna has a rustic, casual vibe and Quince is the ultimate Italian fine dinning experience words can’t describe. Congrats Michael!
