Zero + Maria Cornejo

Two more styles of Zero + Maria Cornejo’s Spring 2014 collection just rolled in. We love the easy elegance and artsy edge. It’s fresh and light, but substantial enough to wear now. You don’t have to save it for your “vacay.”

Takin’ it Easy

It’s Saturday, keep it cazh. We have some recommendations, of course. By casual we mean dressed-down chic (not your worn out sweats). We are all about these soft Lady & the Sailor knitted drawstring pants and yummy, soft tees. Complete the look with Maison Martin Margiela’s metallic, slip-on sneaker. It’s perfect for meeting friends for coffee, hitting the farmer’s market, or just being your all-around-cute-self.

The latest from Stevie Howell: kimono inspired silk robes in glorious colors and patterns. Some of you may know Howell, the painter turned designer that has captivated us with her scarves. All her textiles are based on paintings of hers and made here in San Francisco. Shorter lengths and fresh textiles re-invent the lingerie robe. The coolest boudoir cover-up we have seen, and just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Bougie Nights

A special parcel arrived from Paris today… inside was a fresh array of Cire Trudon candles. This fragrant batch includes some familiar favorites and two new candles.

YAZBUKEY is the latest limited edition wax creation. It’s the product of a collaboration with Cire Trudon and Yaz Bukey, a French-Turkish jewelry designer who is known for her unconventional style and work. The notes include violets, leather, saffron, and according to the designer lipstick and hairspray! Sounds crazy, but take a whiff, it’s good.

BETHLEHEM is a fresh spin on Cire Trudon’s Melchoir holiday themed candle. This luxurious scent blends warm notes of amber and sandalwood with musk, tonka beans and white flowers in a festive silver jar meant to evoke the silvery stars in the sky. The holidays will be here before you know it. Try getting into the spirit of things with the right aroma.

☝ Shakespeare might have said “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,” but a Cire Trudon candle is the bees knees and you can count on that name.
